Social Elements is now Social Medicine

Eight years ago, I started my business with a simple yet powerful intent: to work more flexibly, on my own terms, while serving an industry I deeply cared about.

Reflecting now, I’m humbled and proud to see how far we’ve come. I’m no longer alone behind the laptop. Today, I lead an extraordinary network of 21 freelance Associates, supported by a partnership community of other life science communicators that brings unmatched expertise on demand. We’ve stayed true to our core services while evolving them to remain relevant.

LinkedIn is now our main platform, our thought-leadership offerings have grown, and we embrace the latest AI tools because social media never stops changing, and neither do we.

What fills me with pride are the real results we deliver for clients. The moments we’ve earned glowing recommendations, when our hard work made a visible impact, where partnerships are made, investment opportunities gained or patients educated about a new way of understanding their condition —that’s what I’ll always celebrate.

Over the last 8 years, as a solo female founder, I’ve learned some invaluable lessons:

  • You can’t do everything yourself—surround yourself with the best, and you’ll learn from them.
  • Don’t fear failure—say “yes” even when you feel uncertain.
  • And remember, sometimes today’s competitor becomes tomorrow’s greatest supporter.

Now, with both gratitude to all those who have supported us over the last year and a sprinkle of excitement, I’m thrilled to launch our evolution from Social Elements to Social Medicine.

Why the change?

Because our name should reflect who we serve and how we serve them. A medicine treats a problem and that’s exactly what we do. Whether it’s improving digital visibility for life science organisations or helping businesses more broadly, we offer the remedy to your marketing challenges.

We’re also rolling out a fitting new tagline: Your trusted prescription for digital growth.” It feels authentic, grounded and a little fun, too (in the best way).

To keep us closer to our supporters

Our new newsletter will be called Social Dose we hope that it will be your prescription for digital health delivered straight into your inbox.

I am excited about this change and I am looking forward to the year ahead with anticipation.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey so far, clients past and present, freelancers, partners, supporters, you’ve made these eight years meaningful, and I’m so grateful.

If you’d like the right prescription for your digital health be it marketing strategy, LinkedIn content, storytelling, or thought leadership support. And if you’d like to stay connected and never miss a Social Dose, please subscribe here.
